Juurikkasaari’s beach terrace – The best place to relax
In the north side of Juurikkasaari, right next to the guest boat pier, you can find our beach terrace. There you can enjoy amazing food from the grill, cocktails, mocktails, other refreshments and many café products. Juurikkasaari is also an environmentally friendly Roope port.
Juurikkasaari’s beach terrace has been one of Säynätsalo’s favourite hangouts for a few summers. Many have even named the terrace as ”Finland’s most beautiful terrace”, and not for nothing! Our terrace has been voted as the best summer terrace in Jyväskylä in 2023, 2024 and 2025, in Suur-Jyväslylä magazine competition.
On the beach terrace you will find the Art Gelato ice cream bar and the Pommery champagne lounge, where you can enjoy the brand’s sparkling wine by the glass.
We rent SUP boards from the beach bar.
Next to the beach terrace is our guest boat dock, which welcomes boaters arriving by water!
